How To Achieve Facial Forward Growth - 4 Simple Steps

Do you want to promote and achieve forward facial growth?

You’re in the right place!

First of all, for anyone who doesn't know what forward facial growth is, it's simply the process of properly growing your facial bones, such as the maxilla, and fixing recessed bones.

I know, I know, it sounds complicated, right? But let me show you some pictures—it’s easy as hell. You see how one face looks more attractive than the other? That’s because one face has better forward growth, while the other doesn’t.

Now, I’m sure you're clear on what forward facial growth is. But now, let’s get to the real deal—how do you promote it in your face bones and actually achieve it?

Facial forward growth can mainly be achieved through four things. We’ll discuss these four things in detail:

  1. Mewing
  2. Facial exercises
  3. Using force or hands
  4. Nasal breathing
    Lastly, there's surgery.

For anyone who has a very weak jaw structure, you may have to opt for surgery, but in this video, I won’t be covering the surgical method since it’s costly and unnatural.

So, let’s start with our process to achieve forward facial growth (FFG).

Number 1: Mewing
Incorrect tongue position can lead to various problems like a recessed jaw, weak facial structure, and other issues. Performing regular mewing will improve your jaw structure and face shape over time. But most importantly, make sure you know how to do mewing correctly. There are plenty of guides on the internet—you can watch those and you’re good to go.

Mewing will help your nose bridge, maxilla, and jaw area grow properly.

Number 2: Facial Exercises

This one is just as important as mewing. There are several exercises that target facial muscles, which, in return, help your face grow into a better shape. For each exercise, aim to do at least 8 reps and 3 sets.

Here are some effective exercises:

  1. Extending the Lower Jaw – Simply put outward pressure on your lower jaw and try to hold it for a few seconds.
  2. Neck Curl Exercise – Similar to crunches, but for the neck. Lie down and only bring your neck and face upwards until you feel the muscles stretch.
  3. Collar Bone Back-Up Exercise – Keep your head level with the floor, then pull your head back a few inches to feel your neck muscles contract and relax.

Number 3: Using Hands and Force
Use your hands and apply force under your chin. Press your thumb onto your jaw and move it upwards toward your ears, while pressing your chin down into your neck. This helps massage the muscles and gives you a more defined jawline.

Number 4: Nasal Breathing
Many of us still breathe through our mouth when we’re in deep sleep. Stop this at all costs. Mouth breathing is one of the biggest causes of a recessed jawline in both men and women.

Start breathing through your nose and keep your mouth shut while sleeping. To ensure this, you can apply a small piece of tape over your mouth, which will prevent it from opening during sleep. Over time, you’ll notice your lower jaw getting better in shape.

These are the major four things that will help you promote facial forward growth and give your face a better profile, while maxing out your facial bone structure potential.
